DHC Solutions Ltd. was contracted by Directional Drilling Company to follow behind their operations and remediate their construction sites. Their work involved tying fiber optic services from mainlines to residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Sand was placed and compacted over exposed utilities and the remaining excavation was backfilled to match the pre-existing structure – topsoil, gravel, concrete or Asphalt. Each site tie-in had up to 15 repairs to be done. In total, throughout 2017, DHC repaired over 60 sites across Alberta.
